Fridays Feast

Appetizer Name two things that made you smile this week. I found time to read some really good books and to work on a book of my own.
Soup Fill in the blank: Don't you hate it when _you wake up two minutes before the alarm clock goes off__? (I really think that this is the worst feeling in the world.)
Salad When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullabyland? I interview myself in my head. I ask myself questions like I am giving an interview to Charlie Rose or something.
Main Course What is something about which you've always wondered but have not yet found a good answer? I always wondered why good things happen to bad people instead of the other way around.
Dessert What is your favorite pasta dish? Fettucini alfredo

I completely agree with your soup...my cat always meows to be fed, never fail 10 minutes before the alarm goes off! Fun feast!

I agree with your soup, it's horrible. I could use those extra minutes! Good luck with the book you're working on.

Tell us what you've been reading; I'm always looking for really good books.

Your soup - Definitely a terrible feeling! :o)

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, I love your soup. And your salad - except interviewing myself would want to make me get up and write.

I totally agree with your soup. For me, I lay there the ten minutes and get good and sleepy when the alarm sends me to Jupiter!

Concerning your soup---no, I don't hate that! That means I had enough sleep and I am waking up naturally. What I hate is waking up to my spouse's alarm clock over and over again on a day I don't need to get up. Just get up and let me wake up once now, and once later when I need to!
Creative salad! funny!

I think it is so funny what you do to fall asleep. That would only wake me up more...and probably confuse me! :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Interesting. I actually like waking up a couple minutes before the alarm clock, but I have two kids I don't want waking up. Thanks for visiting.

Your soup is spot on, that's horrible!

Oh I hate it when I wake up minutes before my alarm clock.

Isn't it nice when you can finally take some time and sit and read a book? I'm in the process of juggling 3 different books at moment.

I agree re: soup, but then worse than that is waking up 45 mins AFTER your alarm went off only to find you have 10 minutes to get ready, out the door and at work.. hahahaha. THAT's what usually happens to me. :D

... and as for Main Course, I've always used the "These things are meant to test us" cliche.

Fettucini Alfredo? Is that like Spaghetti Carbonara? I'll google it. Can you tell I'm still new to North American ways? ;D

I totally agree with your appetizer. Nothing gives me more pleasure than working on my own book.

Great feast!

I interview myself, too, usually about my next great best seller!

Thanks for stopping by mine!

That's really funny that we had the same answers to the last two =P

For your soup though, I think it's much worse when you get up like an hour early thinking the alarm went off and you brush your teeth and everything only to realize that you have another hour to go, which is never really a worthwhile amount of extra time to sleep for.

Or maybe that only happens to me since I'm blind as a bat without corrective lenses =P

Hi Joey. I'm truly sorry for my late visit.

Good luck on the book you are working on.

When I was working at an office, there were times I would wake up minutes before the alarm clock goes off but I could never go back to sleep again.

Wow, a self-interview. Interesting!

Your main course also makes me wonder sometimes.

Yummy pasta!

Hope you are enjoying the week so far. Thanks for visiting my feast.

I'm with you on the soup! We should all be allowed to sleep until we naturally wake :D
