Fridays Feast for May 4

Appetizer Name something you would not want to own. Those shoes that all of the kids are wearing now that you can rollerskate with. I hate those shoes so much I don't even want other people to own them
Soup Describe your hair (texture, color, length, etc.). Short preferably, Curly and thick when long. Black hair going gray or by now gray hair shot with black LOL. Premature Gray...gotta love it.
Salad Finish this sentence: I’ll never forget my grandparents. I'll also never forget those people who gave me a chance and who believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself.
Main Course Which famous person would you like to be for one day? Hugh Laurie. Why? He is such a good actor and very talented. I think it would be fun to be him for a day.
Dessert Write one sentence about yourself that includes one thing that is true and another thing that is not. I was in a national commercial when I was 12 and my father is mayor of my hometown. Guess which one is real.

Wow...I really liked this weeks questions.

Great Feast! My daughter had a cow over those shoes and I finally broke down and let her have some her grandmother gave her.

Feel free to come dine with me :D

you were in a national commercial when you were 12 is the true one, right?

Oh no, that carpet must go! And those skate shoes drive me batty too. I can't tell you how many times there have been near collisions because of all the tweens in my area having them.

Hmm...I'm betting on the bit on your father is the truth.

I have to agree about those skate shoes... will never own them anyway. Happy Friday.

Here is South Africa we call those shoes "Wheelies". My son had a pair, was very clumpsy on them and didn't wear them that often .. thank goodness.

Lovely feast. Thanks for sharing. Come over and enjoy my table

Wheelies and skateboards - fast trip to the ER (for me when I get in their way). With you there.

Great feast today! I agree with you about those shoes. I can't stand them not to mention the fact that they are not good for children's growing and developing feet.

Let's see....your father is the mayor of your hometown. Am I right??

My feast is up...come on over!

Wow! Your dessert is impressively mysterious...I'm not sure which one is correct!

could not agree more about the Satan Shoes... love me some HUgh Laurie and I'm guessing you were in a commercial when you were 12?

I'm voting that your dad was the mayor as well.

Not that I don't think you could have been an actor, but you could get so much more blog material from the other.

this was a great feast. I too, will never forget my grandparents. I just got back from a funeral. Remembering loved ones is cool! Thanks for dropping by mine!

I love those shoes, I almost bought a pair in the sporting goods store, but after trying them on and knocking the display over I decided against it,lol. Great feast! Your father was the Mayor?

Hey, thanks dropping by my feast.

I agree with Hugh Laurie. House is one of my favorite tv shows. :)

Hope you have a great weekend.

I'm voting that the commercial is right. Tell us!

My daughter got some of those shoes (not from me!) and accidentally made dents in my hardwood floors when walking on them. My husband took them from her until further notice - hopefully forever!

Thanks for commenting on my feast! :)

Did you know they make those roller shoes for adults? One of my colleagues bought them and tried to roller around work. He got busted and had to stop. :-P

Thanks for stopping by!

LOL I wish nobody would give me those kind of shoes either! I'm way too old to be that funky and sport, and besides, I don't rollerskate :) So your hair is gray prematurely just like Taylor Hicks? Hehe. How cool!

Anyway, thanks for dining at my feast and have a good Sunday!

Good feast! I'll guess and say that you were in a commercial. Am I correct?

Good answers :o)

My daughter calls those shoes 'heelies' and I won't let her get them.
She has a fine pair of Roller Blades.

Good choice of who to be for a day.
Hugh Laurie is definitely a very cool guy!

You are so right about those shoes, like either by shoes or skates but why take them combined, lol.

Thanks for visiting my second feast ever! I think I'm going to be a regular at this! I enjoy your blog a lot. I'm interested to read more about what you teach... and to see if I can figure out which is true in your dessert!

That was fun to read! I hate those skate shoes because they make me nervous. I always feel like someone is going to fall using them. I am sure it was the same way for my parents when skateboards came out, and to be honest those shoes are a lot safer than a skateboard. Thanks for visiting my first attempt at this. I like it a lot.

You're right! I am a Californian! My guess is that you're dad is the mayor of your hometown. Thanks for stopping by, I liked these questions too!

Great feast.

My mother-in-law was completely grey by 23 (talk about premature) and used to be mistaken for her kids grandmother (she was only 25 at the time). Talk about a hard hit to the ego!

Hi Joey,

The other day I saw a kid with those shoes. Maybe I am just too cautious, but I thought "He is going to kill himself." I like Hugh laurie as well, but for different reasons. I hardly ever miss house. You were in a national commerical.. I wonder which one.. Have a great evening.

I agree, I cannot stand the shoes with the wheels in the heels. They should be outlawed.
great feast!
